Our club rooms are situated in Ringwood East (Melbourne Australia)
ACDA has been in operation for 23 years and is managed via a committee of doll makers elected from the sixty club members
The dolls are mostly created from fabric and some with polymer clay and all are intricately dressed in hand stitched clothes and hand crafted miniature accessories. Their size ranges from a few centimeters to larger ones over 60cm tall
Our club is for the education, and enjoyment of likeminded hobby doll makers and generally our dolls are not for commercial sale.
We meet on a regular monthly basis and organise workshops, sewing days and from time to time weekend retreats to complete projects along with local and overseas teachers.
2nd saturday of the month except in January at Community Hall Knaith Rd Ringwood East
Library opens 12.30 Meeting starts 1.30 - 4pm
A trading table is available, a great way to source doll making tools and accessories.
We have occasional public exhibitions at our Cloth to Clay expo where a huge range of dolls can be enjoyed by the public.
The club has for many years produced trauma dolls for various children's hospitals as well as dolls for overseas charity work.
